The intf2d_out_acad_unicode configuration option is not applicable for the DXF versions 2007 and above as these versions only support Unicode encoding and do not support the encoding of non-Unicode characters. The intf2d_out_acad_unicode configuration option is not valid for the DXF version 12 as this version does not support Unicode encoding.
